Three new members were sworn into the Jefferson Township Rescue Squad at Wednesday night’s township council meeting. Jessica Skalecky, Jessica Puig and Monica Campagna each took their oaths, which were read by council president Rick Yocum. Rescue squad chief Kathy Jacoby was on hand to welcome the new members. Today, the squad has more than 50 members and operates three ambulances. The squad answers more than 800 calls a year.
